Jupiter is huge and incredibly hot, with the temperatures reaching about 43,000˚F at the planet's core. Unfortunately, you can't land on Jupiter's surface because, being a GAS giant, it doesn't have any solid surface. In 2017, NASA's Juno space probe managed to collect lots of data about the Red Spot. And it turned out that this monster of a storm goes more than 200 miles down into the planet's atmosphere. Is it dangerous for us down on Earth? #brightside Animation is created by Bright Side. Lol if the red spot's storm calmed down and disappear then maybe the planet would shrink-
I just feel like this storm is where all the energy comes from which is what's keeping the planet "alive" or something. Aaaah Space is just full of beautiful wonders.
