Stretching after every resistance workout, is vital, stretching before every Bojutsu training session is vital, you'll learn that as you get older and your body doesn't bounce back from the pain as quickly as it does now, full ROM and flexibility go hand in hand, it is really surprising that you aren't more flexible than you really are
