Very underated Christmas movie,it's lovely
Just watched on Turner Classics as I do every Christmas; never gets boring. It’s not just the humor which is grand but also the spiritual message. Love one another and not love material things till they break you down. I have never met a real person as in the character of McKeever but actually got fairly close a few times; eccentric but profoundly wise. Seems like a contradiction in terms but I assure you it is not. Hollywood script writers should take a cue from this movie cause what they’re putting out these days is rather trashy. jmo
One of the best closing lines in Hollywood history.
A movie made in the 1940`s when America loved God as evident in this great Christmas film. I, fortunately, have the DVD. Watch it every Christmas.🙂
I LOVE THIS MOVIE ...
