We take you through setting up and using the Arlo Audio Doorbell
I’m having a difficult time with Customer Service. Years ago when Arlo came out, there customer service was great. But now if they direct you and electrocute you by mistake, they would say soooorrrryyyy. Note: that did not happen, it’s just an example of how they act or speak to you on the phone. They don’t speak english to well. Sir you talked about the Arlo video door bell but are incorporating another camera and lights for some reason. I’m trying to figure out how or why my video doorbell is not picking up motion when the UPS guy comes, he does not push the button and it does not alert me. if someone came to the door without pushing the button it used too make a mound or noise to alert me. The girl I tried speaking to was supposed to call me back and never did I have an open case and they are not reaching out to me accept by email. I replied twice and yet to have anyone contact me with my issue. Sorry everyone, this is but of a rant. Feels good to get it off my chest, being no one from Arlo is help me.
Next up I’m gonna call today and talk to a manager at customer service I’ll let you know how that goes. If it goes well I’m an honest guy I will share with everyone. Thanks for reading
Great review. Can you setup google home/nest speakers to act as the chime?
You say: "The person at the front door can't hear you unless you hit this button!" Well...WHAT BUTTON??? Should we guess?
Hello can some body help me I don’t know what I’m doing wrong because I did everything right to set it up but when I hit the door bell I don’t get a call
How do you open the actual door? Do you require an additional traditional door system?
Nice review & well presented. I would like this for my deaf son so don’t need video footage. Would the minimum be:doorbell and the home station. The indoor chime would be useful too. Thanks for posting.😀
Can I use the digital and the mechanical chime?
I connect my existing mechanical chime but I want to get the digital too...will both work at the same time?
And do I keep the switch on 1 or 2 position ?
I am interested in this doorbell but I am very concerned around a few things such as the volume. We are on a street where there is road noise. The cameras audio is so quiet no body can hear anything and the delay is terrible.
This video showed not so much delay but I would love to see a test on a reasonable busy street
