One pan creamy butter pork chops are super delicious and easy to make. They make a great midweek meal as you can make them in 30 minutes. Ingredients 2 butterfly pork chops sliced in half pounded and tenderized 1 egg 2 tbsp of corn starch salt and pepper to taste 1 or 2 tbsp of butter 3 cloves of chopped garlic 1/2 tsp of turmeric 1/2 tsp curry powder ½ tsp of chili flakes 1½ cups of heavy cream cilantro or parsley for garnish Instructions: Add the chops, egg, corn starch, salt, and pepper to a bowl. Mix until well combined. Put a generous amount of oil to a preheated pan and fry until the meat is a golden brown. Remove the chops and set them aside. In the same pan, add the butter in and allow it to melt down. Place the garlic, turmeric/curry, and chili flakes in. Saute for a couple of minutes until the spices activate. Pour the cream in and bring it to a boil. Put the pork back in, allow it to simmer for about five minutes while spooning the sauce over the meat. Garnish with cilantro / parsley and serve.

You can make surprisingly good, sexy weeknight meals in minutes if you learn how to make a simple pan sauce. This isn't a recipe per se; this is how to sear and sauce anything. But, if you want a specific recipe, here you go... 2 1-inch-thick pork chops 1 small shallot, chopped 1/4 cup white wine (or fruit juice) 1/4 cup water 1 teaspoon mustard 1/2 oz butter A few leaves of sage, thyme, etc salt pepper olive oil Coat the chops in olive oil, salt and pepper. Cook them in a pan on medium heat until brown on the outside, and the interior temperature reads 145 F. Take them out and put them on a plate to rest. Fry the shallots in the pan for 30 seconds, then put in the wine and water. Scrape the pan to dissolve all the brown stuff on the bottom, and simmer the sauce for a few minutes. Turn off the heat and mix in the mustard. When the sauce isn't bubbling anymore, put in the butter and mix it in as it gradually melts. Tear in the herbs, grind in some pepper, and add some more salt if it needs it. Slice the pork chops, and pour any of the juice that comes out into the sauce. Pour the sauce over the sliced pork. MY COOKING PHILOSOPHY: I don't like weighing or measuring things if I don't have to, and I don't like to be constantly checking a recipe as I cook. I don't care that volume is a bad way of measuring things — it's usually easier. I like for a recipe to get me in the ballpark, and then I like to eyeball and improvise the rest. If you're like me, my goal with these videos is to give you a sense of how the food should look and feel as you're cooking it, rather than give you a refined formula to reproduce.

The prime dipping sauce for this dish is 辣酱油, translated as spicy soy sauce, which is a Chinese variant of Worcestershire sauce. It was brought from England in the 19th century. The umami taste and a slight sourness pair well with deep-fried crispy food. 🥢PRINTABLE RECIPE - 🤍 INGREDIENTS 450 grams (1 lb) of boneless pork chop, sliced into 1/2 inch thick slaps 1 tbsp of soy sauce (Amazon Link - 🤍 1.5 tsp of paprika (Amazon Link - 🤍 1 tsp of salt (Amazon Link - 🤍 1 tsp of sugar 1 tsp of garlic powder (Amazon Link - 🤍 1/2 tsp of ginger powder (Amazon Link - 🤍 1/2 cup of buttermilk 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour (Amazon Link - 🤍 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp of salt to season the coating 1 tsp of white pepper (Amazon Link - 🤍 1 tbsp of baking powder (Amazon Link - 🤍 2-3 tbsp of water 2-3 cups of oil A few tbsp of Worcestershire sauce as a dipping sauce (Amazon Link - 🤍 INSTRUCTIONS Use a sharp knife to make some cuts on the thin layer of fat around the edge of the pork chop slaps. Use the back of your knife or a meat tenderizer to hit the meat on both sides until the surface becomes rough. Porkchop is very lean; it becomes tough, chewy, and dry if you don't tenderize it correctly. Marinate the pork chop with soy sauce, paprika, 1 tsp of salt, sugar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and buttermilk. Let it rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours or until the pork absorbs most of the buttermilk. Mix the marinaded porkchop with 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour thoroughly. A thin layer of batter will help to catch more coating. Combine 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour with 1/2 tsp of salt, white pepper, and baking powder. Slowly drizzle in 2-3 tbsp of water and stir to create tiny little lumps. Rub the flour between your hands to make the lumps even and fine. The flour bits will attach to the pork and create an extra crispy layer. Use a fork to transfer a piece of pork onto the coating. Then, berry the pork and give it a few solid presses. Shake off the excess flour and set it aside on a rack. Continue to coat the rest piece of the pork. A fork is very helpful here because you don't need to touch the wet pork with your bare hand. Let the breaded pork rest for 15 minutes, so the dry flour has enough time to bond together, and it will fall off less when deep frying. Don't rest the pork on a flat board; otherwise, the flour clumps on the bottom side will compact together and lose some of the fluffiness. Bring the oil to 360 F. Deep fry the pork chop over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Pair with Worcestershire sauce and serve with white rice. 🤍

Place a medium sauce pan over high heat and add the vegetable oil. 2. When heated, add the onion and garlic and sauté for 3 minutes. 3. Carefully add the dark rum to flambé, tilting the pot away from your face to prevent burns. 4. When flame dies down, stir gently and immediately add the guava jam. 5. Reduce heat to medium and cook until the jam has melted down in consistency. 6. Add the bbq sauce, cumin, paprika and chili powders. Stir to combine and let simmer for 8 to 10 minutes stirring occasionally to prevent aggressive bubbles from breaking the surface. 7. Add the bitters and stir. Taste and season with salt and black pepper to your desire. 8. Remove from stove and use this sauce as your basting bbq sauce for grilling meats, also to baste pork, chicken, beef and seafood when baking in the oven or even when using a charcoal pit. PORK CHOPS INGREDIENTS Yield: 4 Servings Pork Chops - 4 steaks (8 to 12 oz each) Salt - 1 tsp Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp Green Seasoning - 1/2 cup Guava BBQ Sauce - 1 1/2 cups METHOD 1. Clean, wash and pat dry pork chops. 2. Place pork chops in a bowl. 3. Add salt, black pepper and fresh green seasoning. 4. Massage ingredients into the pork chops. 5. Cover and allow to marinate for 6 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. 6. Preheat oven to 375°F. 7. Pour and massage bbq sauce onto the pork chops. 8. Place pork chops onto a greased baking sheet. 9. Pour remaining bbq sauce over the pork chops. 10. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes depending on the thickness of the chops. 11. These smothered pork chops come topped with a creamy mushroom gravy made completely from scratch. No condensed soups or super processed ingredients are found here and you WILL taste the difference! Even though this smothered pork chop recipe comes together completely from scratch, you won't find it hard to make. It's surprisingly easy, coming together in one pan AND in less than 30 minutes that's a family dinner win! 🖨 ⬇️ 🖨 ⬇️ 🖨 ⬇️ 🖨 ⬇️ You can print out the recipe here: 🤍 Here's what you'll need: 4 (3/4-inch thick) boneless pork loin chops 2 teaspoons Kosher salt, separated 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, plus a generous pinch, separated 3 tablespoons canola or avocado oil, separated 3 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped 1 (8-ounce) package sliced button mushrooms 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream 2 teaspoons soy sauce How to Make Smothered Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy: Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel and set them aside. Combine 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, the garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in a small bowl and mix. Drizzle the pork chops evenly with 1 tablespoon of oil and rub all over. Then, add the seasoning and rub all over to adhere once more to adhere. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil to a large sauté pan over medium-high heat and allow to come to temperature. Add the pork chops to the pan and cook for 2 1/2 minutes on the first side or until golden-brown. Then, flip and sear and 2 minutes more. Remove from the pan and set aside. Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. As the butter melts, use it to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Do not allow the butter to burn. As soon as it has melted, add the mushrooms and the diced onions. Sauté about 6-8 minutes, stirring often until the mushrooms and onion are cooked through. Sprinkle the flour across the onions and mushrooms and stir until evenly coated. Add in the chicken broth one big splash at a time, whisking well after each addition. Once all of the broth has been incorporated, add the cream, soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt, and a generous pinch of black pepper. Stir to combine. Reduce the heat to maintain a slow simmer and add the pork chops back into the pan. Simmer for an additional 8-10 minutes, turning the pork chops half-way through the cooking.
