Mais elle a aussi sorti son propre album, My Name, un album riche qui correspond a ses quatre dernières années et qui nous plonge immédiatement dans une ambiance agréable. Mélanie Pain sera en concert à la Flèche d'Or le 1er juillet, elle sera aussi présente dans différents festivals cet été. Voici une session tournée il y a plusieurs mois. C'est vrai que nous avons souvent dit que les lieux quand lesquels nous tournons nos sessions sont secondaires. Comptent avant tout la rencontre, ce que les artistes ont à nous offrir ce jour là... plein de petits détails plus importants que le décor. Mais quand on arrive dans des endroits aussi magique que la boutique Paperdolls on est forcé de revenir sur cette idée. Rentrer dans cette boutique c'est ouvrir la porte d'une jolie maison en haut d'une colline, un jour de printemps, c'est rentrer dans le grenier des grands parents rempli d'objets du quotidien qui deviennent tout à coup des objets magiques, des livres ouverts remplis de belles histoires. Vous avez envie de vous asseoir dans un coin et de prendre votre temps. C'était juste l'endroit parfait pour que Mélanie de sa voix incroyablement sensuelle et émouvante nous raconte ses histoires. C'était l'endroit parfait pour l'écouter et se laisser envahir d'un joli frisson. C'est ici qu'avec Sébastien son musicien, nous nous installons et oublions tout le reste, le tumulte du quartier, le temps qui passe. C'était ici qu'il fallait tourner cette session.
