your intro describing your lax self is literally me. i just did a leg day.. on wed.. and i’m still sore on saturday. haha
I absolutely adore your channel. Out of all the fitness youtubers/influencers, you’re definitely one of the most informative, honest & genuine ones. You‘ve grown my knowledge in all thing health & fitness plus, have created such a welcoming atmosphere. Honestly, obsessed!
Getting back to training because initially i did it for looks and now i need help with mobility and strength and... I need some normalcy after a really depressing year. I lost my job and my relationship of 11 years and my new apartment, but I count this as step one to being myself again, even if its just using body weight and mobility exercises for my achy knees and hips. You're an inspiration to me for remembering why Im starting and to keep going! Thank you so much for all you do! 🥰
Awe how have I never seen this video?? Just getting back into routine lifting since breaking my foot and it’s been hard. This video was just the motivation I needed to give me that extra kick❤️
I'm a chronic under eater and needing to reverse diet. I'm trying to learn how to do it without gaining fat, but how do you count calories when you cook from scratch? Fitbit only seems to count calories (and categorize them into macros) when I buy food. How do I stay on track? I really need to know how to count those cals and track my macros with from scratch foods.
Could you make a video about how you healed your back? I've had a back injury for many years that has completely thrown off my fitness.
I went to a fancy Hollywood famous people gym that specialized in "cleaning up" injuries, and made great progress there over about 3 months of 3x weekly sessions when working with most of the trainers.
But one of them (the owner of the gym) was negligent, and I reinjured it in a session with him before I understood what was happening.
I just bought your fat loss program and am really excited to start it, but I worry my back injury may get in the way.
It may be too early to make this conclusion. But I substituted my carrot and walnut muffin ~800 calories for an apple and cinnamon muffin ~350 calories and have lost ~2kg in 5 days. I guess time will tell as I try to lose the remaining 4 to 5kg before mid-October.
Is this Dr Sam Robbins sister
I got a major back injury the last month and I haven’t been able to work out as I’m in rehab for my spinal issues as well. Could you please share what happened to your back, why weren’t you able to workout for a year? Not working out has caused so much mental stress as working out really help with my mental health. I would really want to hear you story and how you combatted it.
Natacha you’re motivating me sooo much. Last year I was forced to stop my sports career after 14 years of competitive sport because of different little injuries. At first it was actually fine, I continued doing sport alone or with my friends. But when I came to another class as my old teammates and friends, because I wasn’t doing competitive sport anymore, my mental health got much worse and as a result my fitness level decreased. It was a dichotomy. On the one hand, I wanted to continue to be athletic and eat healthy, but on the other hand, I was annoyed by having to be athletic (this pressure came from myself). The last month I often tried eating healthier again or doing more sports…, but this all wasn’t sustainable and long-term.
I was angry, was thinking why everyone on Instagram or all these fitness YouTuber have no problems staying or becoming fit. Additionally I was overwhelmed by all these workouts. I used to do this or that but didn’t really have a structure or a plan for what I’m actually doing this and my motivation wasn’t the highest.
But now I found you, you’re giving me something where I can hold on, that gives me a new structure, something that shows me what I actually want to do with my body.
Thank you for showing exactly how you create your training sessions and also for showing your step by step comeback, that helps a lot not getting overwhelmed or be scared to do sports continually again.
Kind regards and thank you,
Mara. (Ps: Sorry for my English, I’m from Germany☺️)
I’m really late to this video but I needed to say this, thank you so much for this video, I have recently found out I am expecting my first child and for about the last year I have been very sedentary and my diet has been poor to say the least. Coming from someone who used to use training and exercise as a hobby and food as fuel this has been a little discouraging for me. But to see you be so raw with your journey back has given me the confidence and inspiration I needed. So thank you!! ❤️
I just want a body like hers 😭 That's all I want and that's what I'm gonna get with hard work and dedication
❤️. That is all!
You have a great functional approach to working out, certainly gets my thumbs up
I’m definitely not where I want to be. No one else but me would know, but I’ve definitely gained weight. It’s not the end of the world, but anyone who’s been at their personal best knows that it really sucks when you move backward.
You're such a pretty girl 😘
I’ve recently recovered from a severe back injury as well and wooo, getting back into it is difficult. Don’t feel like I’m in my own body yet
I think you're a medical miracle. Your before body is amazing!
so grateful to have a female youtuber who can teach me about strength training! just getting started and this helps a ton, thank you girl 🥰
