Love it. I had a Heather in Hs..blonde rich cheerleader...flicked her hair once every 7 minutes and had to tolerant the rest us!
Struck me that the part of this movie that couldn’t get made these days is the highschooler in a trenchcoat who wants to kill his classmates.
Anyway, this episode was really very! Great job Bailey!
Bailey seems like a Veronica, but her answer to the lunchtime poll exposes her innate Heatherness. Hope to see her in more episodes of Slumberground.
There's evidence throughout the film, that Christian Slater's character (JD), has schizophrenia. He's no hero. But as a villain, he is certainly more likeable than the ''Heathers'' and football jocks.
Never saw this film, but intrigued. I wonder how it compares storyline-wise to Heathers the Musical.

When this movie came out, I was a teen, and while I didn't see it in theaters, I went to the video store months after, convincing my mother to get it. She had no clue what she rented, lol. (I was a Betty Finn that grew tired of the chicks around me and became a Veronica) Ah, good times! I still quote it to this day to befuddled faces. Oh well! What's their damage anyway?
Shannen Doherty ❤
Omg! Millie...where did you got that Alain Delon life-size cut out?!!!! 🤤😍🤍
The movie came out when I was in 8th grade and been a fan ever since. I played that movie at a slumber party. We rented it on VHS. I offended a lot of people by suggesting and playing this movie. The satire was lost on a few of my friends in attendance. Thanks for the great conversation and for featuring the movie.
I also want to say that I love that there is a life-sized cardboard cut out of Alain Delon in Millie’s bedroom.
Yeah it's tragic when your "friend"slips you a fatal Mickey.Ask River Phoenix,Remember this was in the ether &George-dufus-slipping his boss a Mickey on Seinfeld long before River's fate a t TVR was sewn up.....
Ridiculous film. Only watched once. :(
Last New World Pictures release before it shut down. Video found this pic. Great round table/zoom.
This is the best movie leaving the 80's. It came out in '89.
You never forget your 1st time watching Heathers. For myself it was at a neighbor’s/friends house and his sister was watching it on TV (probably the edited version, but not sure if it was a rental/borrowed). After that, any time that was possible once I found Serial Mom on Cinemax in the mid ‘90’s; I would make a double feature out of both of them.
Here’s to a all the underrated classics that need more love/appreciation.
