OMG so excited about the global vote i've been a eurovision fan for years but don't live in any of the usual participating countries so i am so happy i have a chance now !!! here is to hoping this goes well. YAY !
I wish that every one in the world speaks about Tv series ,cinema movies, Theatre plays, Radio series, music and songs as well as the universities in his country... what about switzerland, Monaco, Luxembourg, turkey, Liechtenstein, Vatican, Andora and San Marino???
NO F**** WAY. This has increased my excitement TO THE MAX
Making voting global just ruined eurovision
If you don’t speak English or Spanish you’re even more at a disadvantage
OK CAN SOMEONE FINALLY TELL ME IS THERE A GLOBAL JURY OR ARE THEY GONNA DOUBLE THE POINTS OVER??
To be honest, I really would have salvaged only "Blackbird" from the list of non-qualifiers in the 50/50 split voting system. On the list, of songs that would not have qualified via televote in the semis, there are several of my favs from the respective years, as they are: O Mie, Mall, Caroban, I Stand. I know the taste in music is clearly subjective, but I have to say, adressed to the EBU please reconsider, this is not a good idea. You're not making the contest a better experience.
I'm not a fan of the new system. This is going to limit to genres represented. If you look at the songs that would not have qualified under this system, they are pretty much all ballads or power vocals.
Not everyone has a credit card to vote, I think that you could maybe change this to a voting code after registering to vote on your site. So almost everyone could vote...Think about it.
I don't like the idea that countries like the USA can vote, they didn't appreciate masterpieces like Kosntrakta "in corpore sano" or Mahmood "Brividi" in their reactions 🤦🏻♂️ They don't have the same tastes as Europeans.
yet another bottom guy from the Netherlands... Where are tops???
Seems a little unfair to ban European countries from participating
Eurovision Anglo-Saxon chronicle Uk 🇬🇧 and Armenia 🇦🇲 😊
I domt want meme songs to be winning
Hmmm, these voting changes aren't THAT bad. It's sad we wont have the jury in the semi finals but as long as they are there to counter pity votes in the finals next year, I am ok with this.
Also, the "rest of the world" having the power of only one country seems ok.
No matter what system is used - there will always be the 'we were robbed' or ' xxxxxx should have qualified'
Watch literally no ballads go through the semis in 2023
As someone who was watching people from US reacting to Eurovision, I dont want them to vote :D they dont understand our culture and definitely not this contest.
