I worked with Donald O as sound engineer when he played the Fairmont in the late 70s, even in HIS 70s he could do it all, 2 50 minute shows, 6 nights a week for 2 weeks. Pretty amazing.

Multi talented, he could play the piano, sing, act and as for his dancing he was one of the best. Certainly as good as Gene Kelly who got a lot more recognition than Donald O’Connor ever got.
