GS do you have anything on a neglected muscles routine? Muscles get stimulated in everyday activities but not all of them😉
Is it necessary to use a barbell or can i get the same benefits doing a double kb snatch/clean and press?
I probably could not hit much weight on those with my wacked shoulders
I am just a common man, not an athlete and I weigh 60kgs. Before watching your videos, I could snatch only 25kgs and clean only 55kgs. After learning from your videos, now I can snatch 50kgs and clean 70kgs. And I did it without any supervision , I just set up my camera to observe my movements.

I have been doing kettlebell sport training for two years now. I began integrating some olympic-style lifts into that a while back (kb squat snatch, split jerk, overhead squat) and scaled them up to the point where I began to get more from them than sportstyle jerks, snatches, and long cycle. I have been plotting a jump over to olympic lifting and this video gives me a great little side project while I look for somebody to teach me. Thanks. Would you still recommend that bar for a beginner who is fairly technical in an adjacent sport, or something different?

On Monday I had weight training class, and after finishing my workout, everybody else was resting and class was nearing the end. I didn't know you were gonna talk about power snatchs, so I randomly did some (I know I shouldn't really be doing a power snatch after doing a hard workout because it requires more of my body and should've done it firsthand) but I did it anyways because I was really bored and for funzes.
So I did 5 proper reps with a 45lb barbell, I'm glad I did it with a similar technique like Jake did (bar at waist, bend knees, activate hips, legs driving down). I felt great doing it, a definite recommend but my traps are sore now 😅😂👍
Would a 3x3 not be better then a 1x10 for realistic output? When you have to make a 3 or 4 combo move. I see the intensity and prob faster strength gains of 1x10, but what happens when you cut twice and he's still on ya? Seems like a 3xX would better replicate those power pulse timings, or do both? 🙏
Thanks, I'm going to incorporate this movement into my workout. I haven't developed the range of motion for the power clean so this is a great substitute.
