Welcome to a sneak peek of the first Ask Me Anything (AMA) episode, part of the Huberman Lab Premium subscription. The Huberman Lab Premium subscription was launched for two main reasons. First, it was launched in order to raise support for the standard Huberman Lab podcast channel — which will continue to come out every Monday at zero-cost. Second, it was launched as a means to raise funds for important scientific research. A significant portion of proceeds from the Huberman Lab Premium subscription will fund human research (not animal models) selected by Dr. Huberman, with a dollar-for-dollar match from the Tiny Foundation. How do you protect your brain when our government is using directed energy weapons on it please tell me.
The 90 minute ultradian cycle is actually determined by a fascinating underlying cycle of the Universe. I will be revealing that cycle in a book I will publish in 2023. The actual time is 84 minutes and XX seconds. I will not reveal the XX seconds yet. However, even though it is a primary underlying Universal cycle, telling people that they can only focus for 90 minutes actually limits people. I can focus for 6 hours without lifting my eyes and I am sure so can many others. To tell people that they are hardwired to not be able to concentrate that long is limiting their potential. So my message to people is do not allow this narrative to impose limits upon you.
I really appreciate the format of your videos. Would you considerer making one on artherosclerosis, ways to prevent it?❤️
I heard Optimology. Should be a field too: what is optimal behaviour?
Yes I would like you to do a deeper dive into these learning blocks.
Andrew, I often times find that when you discuss a topic you talk around it/ the features and then later on what it actually is. You did this for ultradian cycles - I didn’t know what it was the first few mins just about the features so I find myself having to google it. Then eventually you said what it was. So please say what stuff is then about it. Thanks, Kyle
Ultradian cycles and children's learning for school. If adults only have 3 hours of maximum learning and focus, what does that say about children's school days?
Can we please please please take a deep dive into steroids please!!!!!! I want to know how they work,
is it in your Opinion possible to train yourself for longer focus work(the ultraradian cycle itself and your total learning time over the time)?
Like you are training in the gym?
If not, why?
just learned the best time to practice my aim is during an ultradian cycle, jk gonna use it best i can --learning things that actually matter

Hi Andrew, How does a person with ADHD access the circuits of focus if they can't focus?
Requested topic- why do we procrastinate and how to overcome?
Also how is procrastinating related to the grass is greener on other side syndrome?
I am really suffering from this, would like to have some tools that can help me.
A new subscriber here, wish to learn and become better!
Thanks for your efforts.
Dr. Huberman, regarding ultradian cycles: is it known whether or not humans are ‘hardwired’ to wake naturally/organically at the beginning or perhaps shortly before the beginning of a cycle?
Thank you for another amazing podcast!
I'd like to see Andrew discuss the science of muscle memory. How is it that one day I can't play a guitar chord to save my life, but the next day I play it first try? Any ways to speed up/enhance this process?
No wonder I’m most alert when I procrastinate…and I’m running out of time to complete something! Cortisol is on 💯
